Overwhelmed by the thought of setting everything up again?  I can unpack it and arrange it all in an organized and visually appealing manner.  This is also a logical time to do a home inventory.

I can organize office space, inventory/stock rooms.  Storage units can be built and/or installed.  Workflow and habits can be assessed through observation, looking for ways to simplify, clarify or solve.  You're probably a smart business person (where do I get off saying that - I don't even know you) but that doesn't mean you or your employees are naturally organized.  Also, you probably wouldn't spend money on this type of thing unless it would really benefit your business, employees or bottom line, so think about what it is you need fixed or improved upon, or what result you need. Any room... garages, closets, attics, basements, and all spaces in between can be organized.  Whatever room(s) you are     having frustrations with can be sorted, categorized and arranged to work for you.  Step it up a notch and have me redesign your room and install the storage units/products.  I can install cabinets, shelves, organizing furniture, in addition to painting rooms and decorating, if you help with that.  If your space and needs warrants it, I can custom-build a storage unit for you.

I really enjoy coming up with unique designs that I build with wood.  I have built closet systems, benches, cabinets and cubbies in mudrooms, craft stations in closets, and desks in offices. I leave you with a finished product; all spackled, caulked, primed and painted... and ready to use.  It's easier to be organized if you have a space built for your needs.

Do you have a lot of -for lack of a better term- stuff?  Are there so many weird little categories that you        don't know what to do with it all. Is it cluttering your home to the point that it's making you a little crazy. You're not even sure you want to keep it all, but you don't know where to start.  Do you have a hard time letting go?  I won't force you to depart with anything, but you'll gradually find yourself happily saying goodbye to excess and allowing me to organize the important and cherished items that remain.

Before you pack everything & relocate, let me sort, categorize & containerize your belongings.  In the process, there's likely to be plenty to trash and donate.  This will lighten the load and get you started on a positive note.  If you'd like, I'll even make arrangements with a moving company for you.

Are you overwhelmed by the thought of looking through boxes of paper?  Not sure what to keep, shred, recycle and for how long.  I know all the rules and can keep you focused on the task at hand.  I'll ask the right questions in order to make the process easier.

Photographs, memorabilia and other items can be organized in a creative way so that you can actually enjoy them.  This includes displaying and/or packing them in a single accessible place.

Estate

When a loved one passes, the process of sorting through and packing their belongings can be difficult.   With sensitivity and extra care, items can be packed to your specifications.  Also please see services above, noted under Family Member.

Home Inventory

A comprehensive list of your household items is created and categorized.  This can be beneficial for insurance purposes and may help you to realize a few items you no longer need.  A photo record can also be arranged on flash drive.

Staging/Organizing Homes for Sale

Looking to sell your home for top dollar and want it to impress anyone walking through the door?   With an organized eye, your home can be simplified, drawing attention away from less interesting features while showcasing the gems.  This service is similar to the Designed to Sell TV program.  You can start by having me develop a comprehensive checklist of recommendations, then decide what projects to do yourself, and what work you'd like to have In Order complete.

Do it myself (as in me, the organizer)

Are you sick of DIY do-it-yourself projects?  Some of us aren't sure how to do it and simply don't have the time.  Many aspects of organizing can be done without your involvement.  We set some parameters (keep this, toss that, put all these over there, etc.) and then I will get to work and do it myself.  Some clients have given me boxes of papers or photographs from their storage unit and trusted me to make decisions on what stays, what goes, and how to organize what remains. I return with a lighter load (if that's the goal), categorized, organized, and contained.

Errand Services

So you've hired me and like the results and were kind of wondering... would this friendly and trustworthy guy water my plants and check on my house while I'm away?  Package and mail something for me? It's not really organizing, so I don't want to insult him.  Don't hesitate to ask.  I understand that sometimes there are uncomplicated tasks that you simply need done in order to rest easier, but you also aren't so comfy with asking the neighbor kid to do it.  It's not a big deal, but you want it done right.
